Those who use Gmail as their main point of contact on the internet may find themselves often inundated with messages they would much rather read at a later time. Google’s email service has a feature that lets users postpone emails to a future date or time that is more convenient. It’s designed to remove non-urgent messages from the inbox and have them pop up on a scheduled future time as fresh, unopened emails.

Over the last few years, Google has injected Gmail with useful functions and settings that have turned it into a well-oiled machine and one of the most popular email services to date. For instance, users who are particularly concerned with their online privacy can send and open emails in confidential mode that requires passwords and time limits for reading messages. Gmail also has a collection of inbox layout designs and lets people pick out one that works best with their email reading style, allowing them to use the service more efficiently. In the same vein, the ability to snooze emails on Gmail gives users the option to prioritize more pressing messages that require an immediate reply or undivided attention.
